This section describes how to build a finite element model.  In general, the following building process is used:

Create collectors
Obtain line and surface geometry from an external file, or hand digitize the data
Reconcile conflicts in the geometry and prepare it for use
Build the model by using element-building panels
Verify the quality of the model
Create boundary conditions and systems

The following building processes are described:

Importing geometry

Creating Collectors

Creating Geometry Data

Temporary Nodes

Picking Surfaces

Editing Surfaces

Associativity

Geometry Cleanup

Applying Loads

Creating Systems

Control Cards
