An Inclusion matrix contains data that is known in advance and is appended to the optimizer as known data points to be considered during the Optimization process. This data typically comes from other approaches, such as DOEs or previously run Optimizations.
Add data to an Inclusion matrix by clicking Edit > Inclusion Matrix in the Specification step of an Optimization.
Import run data from a plain text file or a HyperStudy post processing file by clicking Import Values.
The selected optimizer must be set to use the Inclusion matrix during the study Setup. Each method which supports the use an Inclusion matrix processes data differently. For more information on how the different Optimization methods use Inclusion matrices, refer to Optimization Methods.
