Coefficient

Comments

1.Rayleigh symbol_a_14 damping computation:

[C] = symbol_a_14[M] + coeffec-B[K]

Ci = symbol_a_14mi + coeffec-Bki

damp_comp2

damp_comp3

where,

[C] is the damping matrix

[M] is the mass matrix

[K] is the stiffness matrix

symbol_a_14 and coeffec-B are coefficients

Ci is the nodal damping matrix

mi is the nodal mass matrix

ki is the nodal stiffness matrix

Ccrit is the critical damping

2.If this option is not declared in the Runname_0000.rad file, it will not be available in RADIOSS Engine: arbitrary coefficients: alpha or beta may be declared in the Runname_0000.rad file and modified when repeating the option into the file Runname_run#.rad for RADIOSS Engine.
