The Initial Conditions tab on the System and Assembly panel allows you to specify initial conditions for systems.

Description

Translational velocity

Vx, Vy, Vz

Use to set the initial translational velocity of all bodies in a system.

Rotational velocity

Wx, Wy, Wz

Use to set the initial rotational velocity of all bodies in a system.

The check box to the left of each initial condition indicates whether the initial condition is to be applied.  When the check box is on, the solver default is used.

Initial conditions can be applied to any system in the model.  The initial conditions applied to a system are automatically applied to its subsystems.  If the initial conditions of a subsystem are set separately, the settings override those of the system above it.  Each initial setting that is overridden by a subsystem is listed on the right side of the parent system’s initial conditions tab.
