Field |
Contents |
EID |
Unique element identification number. No default (Integer > 0) |
PID |
Identification number of a PACABS property entry. Default = EID (Integer > 0) |
Gi |
Grid point identification numbers of connection points. Default = blank (Integer > 0) |
1. | Element identification numbers should be unique with respect to all other element identification numbers. |
2. | Grids G1 through G4 should be provided consecutively about one quadrilateral face. G5 through G8 should be provided on the opposite face with G5 opposite G1, G6 opposite G2, and so on. |
3. | The grids G9 to G20 are optional. If any edge connection point is blank or set to zero, the element formulations are modified to provide proper results for reduced number of connections. Corner grids cannot be deleted. The second continuation line is not mandatory. Additionally, it recommended that the edge points should be present within the mid-third of the edge. |
