General MDL Entity Toolbar

The General MDL Entity toolbar provides you quick access to the Outputs, Templates, Forms, and Datasets panels.

Left-click the corresponding button on the toolbar to set the filter for picking items in the graphics area to the currently selected entity/panel only, or right-click to display the the Add "Entity" dialog (which is used to add entities to the current model):

Outputs

Allows you to create and edit output and requests such as displacement, velocity, acceleration, and force.

Datasets

Allows you to access user-defined datasets.

Templates

Allows you to insert segments of text into your model.

Forms

Allows you to edit data stored in user-defined panels.
