Within the plot browser, there are seven predefined browser view modes, accessible via the first row of icons within the Plot Browser.  Selecting a predefined browser view mode allows you to quickly filter specific entities in your plot.

Note        When any view is selected, the tree structure and Properties Table update accordingly.

You can click on an entity’s icon in the browser to toggle its visibility.  The icon is grayed out and the accompanying text label is dimmed when the entity has been disabled, and appears normal when the entity is enabled.  This is true for the following entities: Curves, Legends, Notes, Datum Lines, Axes, and Headers/Footers.

For example, in the image below, the four curves displayed in the Plot Browser are visible in the graphics window.  Notice that the icon next to each curve listed under w1:XY Plot appears normally to indicate the curves are visible in the graphics area.

However, when you click on the icon next to the curve name in the browser, those curves are hidden from view.  In the image below, the first three curves have been deselected from the browser and are hidden from the graphics window. Notice that both the icon and text are dimmed to indicate they are not visible.
