In this group, keywords are used to set default value, global parameter, analysis type, input/output print, damping and ALE and CFD treatment for the whole model. For default value, it is still possible to overwrite in each specific keywords.

Sets the run name, the version and unit system for the model.

/END

Set to end of the Starter Input deck.

/PRIVATE/METADATA/FATXML

Used to read FATXML format

/TITLE

Set title of the model.

Default value

/DEF_SHELL

Set default values for certain parameters in all shell properties (/PROP/SHELL), which are used in the model.

/DEF_SOLID

Set default values for certain parameters in all solid properties (/PROP/SOLID and /PROP/TSHELL), which are used in the model.

/DEFAULT/INTER/TYPE2

Set default values for certain parameters in all /INTER/TYPE2 interfaces, which are used in the model.

/DEFAULT/INTER/TYPE7

Set default values for certain parameters in all /INTER/TYPE7 interfaces, which are used in the model.

/DEFAULT/INTER/TYPE11

Set default values for certain parameters in all /INTER/TYPE11 interfaces, which are used in the model.

/DEFAULT/INTER/TYPE19

Set default values for certain parameters in all /INTER/TYPE19 interfaces, which used in model.

/DEFAULT/INTER/TYPE24

Set default values for certain parameters in all /INTER/TYPE24 interfaces, which are used in the model.

/IMPLICIT

Used to change the default value of /DEF_SHELL, /DEF_SOLID and /INTER/TYPE7 for implicit analysis.

/SPHGLO

Used to set SPH global parameters.

/STAMPING

Used to improve the error messages for stamping applications.

Computation

/AMS

Used to set which part will apply advanced mass scaling (AMS).

/ANALY

Used to set analysis type (tri-dimensional or axisymmetric or plane strain).

/ARCH

Used to architecture compatible platform.

/EIG

Used to compute Eigen modes and static modes.

/PARAMETER

Used to define local or global parameters, which are used in the model.

/PERTURB

Used to apply random noise (following Normal Distribution) on shell thicknesses.

/RANDOM

Set nodal random noise to check stability of model by introducing random noise on nodal coordinates.

/SPMD

Used to set SPMD parameters for Hybrid Massively Parallel Program (HMPP) computation.

/UNIT

Used to specify local unit system for keywords (material and property keywords).

Input/Output

/ANIM/VERS

Used to define animation format version, which is used in post-processing.

/IOFLAG

Used to define the output (print info content, print file format).

Damping

/DAMP

Used to define the Rayleigh mass and stiffness damping coefficients, which are applied to a set of nodes.

/DAMP/INTER

Set Rayleigh damping to the nodes inside of specified contact to increase its stability and reduce results scattering due to small variations of initial or boundary conditions.

ALE and CFD controls

/ALE/CLOSE

Used to treat elements closure.

/ALE/GRID

Used to define grid formulation for ALE modeling (velocity, displacement computation).

/CAA

Used to compute Aero-Acoustic formulation for Eulerian or quasi-Eulerian simulations.

/UPWIND

Used to set upwind coefficient for ALE or Eulerian cases.
