The Reference Entity toolbar provides you quick access to the Points, Vectors, Markers, Curves, Deformable Curves, Surfaces, Deformable Surfaces, Graphics, and Bodies panels.

mv_model_reference_toolbar

Reference Entity toolbar

Left-click the corresponding button on the toolbar to set the filter for picking items in the graphics area to the currently selected entity/panel only, or right-click to display the the Add "Entity" dialog (which is used to add entities to the current model):

point-24

Points

Allows you to create points and to edit point coordinates.

entityMultibodies-24

Bodies

Allows you to edit the mass properties, orientation rules, and initial conditions for bodies.

entityVectors-24

Vectors

Allows you to create vectors and to edit vector components.

entityMarkers-24

Markers

Allows you to create markers and to edit location and orientation rules for markers.

entityCurves-24

Curves

Allows you to create and edit curves.  Curves hold x-y data for nonlinear properties.  This panel has similar options as the Define Curves panel in HyperGraph.

3d_spline_panel_icon_mv

Spline3D

Allows you to add and edit three dimensional spline data.

entityGraphics-24

Graphics

Allows you to change the graphical attributes of entities in your model.  Graphical attributes include color, state, and rendering method.

entityGeometry-24

Surfaces

Allows you to create surfaces for use with advanced joint entities.

entityCurvesDeformable-24

Deformable Curves

Allows you to create and edit deformable curves. These curves can change their shape during the simulation and can be used with advanced joints and contacts.

resultsContour-24

Deformable Surfaces

Allows you to create and edit deformable surfaces. These entities can change shape during the simulation and can be used with advanced joints and contacts.
