Description
Writes an H3D file using various options to control the exported data.
Inputs
- filename
- Full name and path of the H3D file to save.
- string_array
- The ID of the string array that contains the additional output parameters. The string array is created using the *createstringarray command. This should always be set to 1.
- number_of_strings
- Integer indicating the size (number of strings) in the string array created using *createstringarray.
Examples
To save an H3D as C:/test.h3d:
*writeh3dwithoptions C:/test.h3d 1 0
To save an H3D as C:/test.h3d with both geometry and FE data, along with titles:
*createstringarray 2 model=3 title=1
*writeh3dwithoptions C:/test.h3d 1 2
Errors
Incorrect usage results in a Tcl error. To
detect errors, you can use the catch
command:
if { [ catch {command_name...} ] } {
# Handle error
}
